We’re looking for a Director, Public Relations who can turn client objectives into compelling stories and measurable results. You’ll help our clients earn attention through smarter storytelling, cultural relevance and integrated campaigns while partnering across the agency to create work that makes an impact.

 

This position can function remotely with occasional travel for team or client meetings.  

 

What You’ll Do: 

  • Serve as the PR lead for a portfolio of clients, providing strategic counsel and building client relationships
  • Develop integrated communications strategies in partnership with strategy, creative, media, social, and account teams
  • Spot cultural moments and newsworthy opportunities that help our clients earn timely and authentic attention
  • Lead the development and execution of earned media programs that support broader marketing and business objectives
  • Write and edit press releases, media pitches, bylines, executive messaging, and other communications materials
  • Build and maintain relationships with journalists, editors, influencers, and industry partners while actively pitching stories
  • Identify newsworthy opportunities and develop proactive storytelling ideas that elevate client brands
  • Lead media training and crisis communications efforts as needed
  • Participate in new business opportunities
 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong client counseling and presentation skills
  • A sharp understanding of culture and the modern media landscape, with the ability to identify opportunities that go beyond traditional PR tactics
  • Significant experience leading both B2B and B2C campaigns
  • Strong relationships with trade, business and national media, with the ability to build credibility in new industries quickly
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including strategy, creative, media, digital and account service
  • Exceptional writing skills
  • Proven success securing earned media coverage and building relationships with journalists
  • Ability to think strategically while remaining comfortable executing the work.
  • Curious, collaborative, and solutions-oriented
