Temporary Social Media & PR Coordinator (Remote, Contract)
Location: Remote (US-based, CT or EST)
Duration: 3-month contract (20 hours minimum) with potential for expansion
Team: Earned Media (Social Media + PR)
Archer is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Temporary Social Media Coordinator to support our Earned Media team across multiple accounts. This role will play a critical part in keeping social, influencer, ambassador and PR programs running smoothly by managing project workflows, trafficking assets, coordinating approvals, and supporting day-to-day community engagement.
This is a 3-month contract position with a minimum of 20 hours/week & potential for extended hours based on business needs
What You’ll Do
Social Media Management
- Generate and manage tasks and timelines to keep projects on track and deadlines met
- Monitor task progress and flag risks or delays proactively
- Support editorial calendar workflows including kickoff notes, task assignment, and brainstorm documentation
- Maintain organized Google Drive folders and ensure current assets are accessible to internal teams
Community Management
- Monitor and respond to direct messages and customer inquiries on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
- Flag escalated issues to the appropriate internal teams
- Support fast-turn social approvals and one-off client outreach needs
Influencer & Ambassador Program Support
- Confirm content is posted on due dates
- Request and organize reporting metrics from influencers
- Monitor ambassador activity and confirm monthly assignment completion
- Review and onboard new or one-off ambassadors
- Manage ambassador inboxes and respond to program-related questions
- Track reward fulfillment and shipment coordination
- Traffic approved influencer/ambassador content for paid media use
- Order and package PR boxes, giveaway items, and branded materials as needed
- Remove inactive ambassadors from program platforms as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in social media, influencer marketing, PR, or account coordination
- Experience working inside project management systems such as Basecamp or similar
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple moving pieces across accounts
- Clear written communication and strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Must be available during standard business hours (Monday through Friday); with 2 morning hours & 2 afternoon hours.

- Familiarity with ambassador platforms such as Social Ladder
- Familiarity with social listening platforms such as Meltwater
